State of the Indo-Pacific Conference 2025

9–10 October · Melbourne, New Delhi & Online

Reimagining Power and Partnership in the Indo-Pacific: Strategy, Sovereignty, and Regional Futures

Agenda Overview

The State of the Indo-Pacific Conference 2025 brings together leading thinkers, policymakers, scholars, and civil society actors for two days of high-impact dialogue, strategic foresight, and actionable insights.

Held at a time of geopolitical fragmentation and shifting power dynamics, the conference explores how Indo-Pacific actors can move beyond dependency on global hegemons to shape their own regional futures. Through keynote addresses, plenary panels, breakout sessions, and curated roundtables, participants will engage with the region’s most pressing challenges — and emerging opportunities.

This year’s agenda is organized around two central themes:

  • Day 1 – Strategic Crossroads: Navigating fragmentation, rivalry, and the return of great power politics.
  • Day 2 – Forging New Frameworks: Building autonomous, resilient, and cooperative futures in a post-hegemonic Indo-Pacific.

We invite you to explore the full agenda below and join us in shaping the conversations that will define the region’s next chapter.
