India-German Sustainable Development Partnership to benefit Africa

Dr. Philipp Ackermann, the German Ambassador, highlighted joint initiatives between Germany and India to support sustainable development in several African nations. Utilizing the knowledge of both countries, triangular cooperation initiatives on sustainable farming and agriculture have been started in Ghana, Benin, and Malawi. The goals of the "Indo-German Partnership for Green and Sustainable Development" (GSDP) are to create emission-free metropolitan centers, protect natural habitats, and address climate change issues. The collaboration is prepared to make real, operational advancements on the ground with an allocation of 10 billion euros over the ensuing years.
